How the Service Works

What does Lynx Hauling offer?

Lynx Hauling offers dump trailer leasing and DIY dumpster service. We deliver the trailer, you load it, and Lynx handles pickup, dumping, and return service if another load is needed.

Is this the same as junk removal?

No. This service is designed for customers who want to load the trailer themselves. It is a flexible alternative to full-service junk removal or renting a large roll-off dumpster.

How do I schedule a trailer?

Contact Lynx Hauling with your location, preferred rental period, material type, and project details. We will confirm availability, access, pricing, and placement instructions.

Do I need to be home for delivery?

In many cases, delivery can be coordinated with clear placement instructions. Access, surface conditions, safety, and property permission must be confirmed before delivery.

Rental Periods & Pricing

How long can I keep the trailer?

Rental options may include 24-hour, weekend, and 7-day rentals, subject to trailer availability. Longer arrangements may be available for approved projects or recurring accounts.

What are the starting prices?

Current starting prices are $149 for a 24-hour rental, $299 for a weekend rental, and $395 for a 7-day rental. Final pricing depends on location, material type, disposal fees, and dump run needs.

Are dump fees included?

Dump run service and disposal fees may be separate. Disposal costs can vary based on the material, weight, landfill, transfer station, or disposal facility requirements.

Can I keep the trailer longer?

Additional days may be available depending on trailer availability and the next scheduled rental. Contact Lynx as early as possible if you need more time.

Dump Runs & Hydraulic Dumping

Can I use the trailer’s dump feature?

No. For customer safety, equipment protection, and proper disposal, Lynx Hauling operates the trailer’s hydraulic dump system. Customers load the trailer; Lynx handles the dumping.

Can I request multiple dump runs?

Yes. During the rental period, Lynx can pick up the trailer, dump it, and return it if you need another load. Dump runs are subject to availability, routing, material type, and disposal requirements.

What is a standard dump run?

A standard dump run generally means Lynx picks up the loaded trailer, takes it to an appropriate disposal facility, empties it, and returns it during the rental period if requested.

Why does Lynx handle the dumping?

Dumping a loaded trailer involves safety and equipment risks. Having Lynx operate the dump system helps protect customers, equipment, property, and disposal compliance.

Materials & Loading

What can I load in the trailer?

Common approved materials may include household debris, furniture, green waste, remodel debris, light construction material, garage cleanout items, and rental property cleanup debris.

What materials are not allowed?

Prohibited items include paint, chemicals, hazardous waste, batteries, tires, asbestos, medical waste, propane cylinders, liquids, and other restricted or unsafe materials.

Can I load dirt, concrete, tile, or roofing?

Heavy materials require approval before loading. Dirt, concrete, brick, tile, rock, roofing, and similar materials can become overweight quickly and may require special pricing or load limits.

How full can I load the trailer?

Loads must stay within safe weight limits and may not exceed legal or safe transport requirements. Material should not extend beyond the trailer in a way that creates a safety issue.

Delivery, Placement & Access

Where can the trailer be placed?

The trailer can often be placed in driveways, job sites, rental properties, and other approved locations with safe access. Placement depends on space, surface, slope, clearance, and safety.

Can the trailer be placed on the street?

Street placement may require approval, permits, or compliance with local rules. Customers are responsible for confirming whether street placement is allowed before scheduling.

What if pickup access is blocked?

If the trailer cannot be safely accessed at pickup, additional charges may apply. Keep vehicles, gates, materials, and other obstructions clear so Lynx can retrieve the trailer safely.

Can you deliver to rental properties?

Yes. Lynx can support rental turnovers, move-outs, property cleanup, maintenance projects, and other property manager needs when access and placement are approved.

Towing & Customer Responsibilities

Can I tow the trailer myself?

Self-tow options may be limited and subject to approval, insurance, tow vehicle requirements, brake controller requirements, and safety review.

Do I need insurance?

Insurance or other requirements may apply depending on whether the trailer is delivered by Lynx or approved for self-tow. Lynx will confirm requirements before scheduling.

Is a deposit required?

A deposit or payment authorization may be required depending on the rental type, customer history, project details, and risk factors.

What are customers responsible for?

Customers are responsible for loading only approved materials, keeping access clear, staying within load limits, avoiding prohibited materials, and loading the trailer in accordance with the rental agreement. Heavy materials must be approved in advance and evenly distributed to support safe transport and proper trailer operation.
